Summer's ending, and it's time to make the most out of this season of sun. And so to help us all along this last week of perfect beach weather, the Obamas decided to share their 2019 summer playlist.
Former president Barack Obama shared the roundup of bops on Instagram on Saturday. He captioned the photo, "With summer winding down, here's a sampling of what Michelle and I have been listening to — some new, some old, some fast, some slow. Hope you enjoy. "
The list includes songs from artists Lizzo, Maggie Rogers, Beyoncé, Ella Mai, and Lil Nas X, as well as classics from Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, The Rolling Stones, and Stevie Wonder.
This isn't the first time that the Obamas have shared their music preferences with the public. In 2018, Michelle made a Valentine's Day playlist dedicated to her husband called "Forever Mine." And earlier this summer, the Obamas signed a deal with Spotify to "develop, produce, and lend their voices to select podcasts, connecting them to listeners around the world on wide-ranging topics."
You can play all these hits on loop for the rest of the summer with the Spotify playlist by Pitchfork below.
