Since school's officially out for the summer, what better moment than now to talk to teens about style, growing up, what the work 'awkward' means to them, and who they're inspired by. Photographer Zoe Adlersberg and stylist Mariah Walker took side-by-side portraits of New York City teens wearing their school uniform in one and an outfit that expressed their personal style in another. Of the project, Adlersberg says she and Walker were "really amazed at how clear the teens were about their own style and how poetically they answered our questions."
