We live in a world where everything we want is at our fingertips. Chinese food? At your door in half an hour. Endless bingeable hours of television? Netflix is here for you. Books (or let's be real, weird household items you felt an immediate need to own)? Amazon Prime's raison d'etre is to have your stuff there in three days or less. But what about gold lame leggings? American Apparel knows you crave '80s-inflected clothing brought to you STAT, and they're here to help.
The basics company has partnered with delivery service Postmates to launch an AA on-demand service. In 31 metropolitan areas, customers will be able to order from 50 American Apparel products, and receive it within an hour. "You'll be able to receive hoodies, t-shirts, socks and more," said Chief Digital Officer Thoryn Stephens in a press release. "It's great for traveling or last-minute needs." Everyone getting ready for Coachella who's too busy weaving their flower crowns to pick up a lace bodysuit will thank you American Apparel.
