Social media-created holidays are a dime a dozen ("National Measure Your Feet Day," anyone?) and, if we're being honest, rarely apply to our lives. But days dedicated to celebrating booze? We happily observe.

Yes, it's National Vodka Day, and we're hitting you with two drink recipes from Dutch vodka titan Ketle One for ringing it in correctly. Ketel One, owned and operated by the Nolet family for 11 generations, has its own celebrating to do lately. This year marked its 325th year in the biz, which the brand rang in with a series of celebrations, including a huge blow-out party at the Nolet distillery in Amsterdam this spring.

If your ticket to that party got lost in the mail, however, you can have your own bash at home with their renditions on the Moscow Mule and the classic martini, which is always stirred and never shaken. (Sorry, James Bond -- we're going with Ketel One's 325 years of research on this one.)
