The eerily timed, newest official trailer for Natalie Portman's Jackie is out, which sees the Academy Award-winner embody the late, legendary First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy, and her bravery in the days following her husband President John F. Kennedy's assassination in 1963.

The mesmerizing movie, directed by Chilean filmmaker Pablo Larraín, is an artful, speculatively historical epic, and features a sweeping soundtrack by acclaimed musician Mica Levi, and a downright transcendent performance by Portman which will (probably) land her her second Oscar--and rightfully so.

A reminder of cataclysmic events which have rocked our country, and more specifically, our federal government, and how we survived them.
