Moncler Drops Festival-Themed Line of Ski and Snow Gear

Launching today is 3 Moncler Grenoble, the latest collection from the brand's ongoing Genius project. Grenoble is Moncler's performance line whose roots are in snowboarding, skiing and mountaineering, but designer Sandro Marino's conceptual designs give them an elevated feel.

This season, Grenoble has a subtle yet decidedly hippie flair, with Marino inspired by old festivals and the 50th anniversary of Woodstock. To wit, tie-dyed prints, psychedelic patterns, and fringe accents decorate everything from puffer jackets to snow boots to ski pants. (Cowboy hats also feature aplenty.)

Of course, Grenoble's technical elements all remain intact, with water and wind-resistant materials, membrane and velcro closures offering protection, and volumes providing maximum comfort and movement, perfect for hitting the slopes or just hanging out in the cold this winter.

Moncler held a launch party to celebrate the new Grenoble collection at Le Chalet at L'Avenue @ Saks in New York City last week with DJ Hank Korsan and guests like Hilary Rhoda, Candice Huffine, Willow Barrett. A Moncler ski gondola visual installation is displayed at the Saks NYC flagship through November 14.

The 3 MONCLER GRENOBLE collection is available at Saks stores and Saks.com as well as worldwide in Moncler boutiques and on Moncler.com, beginning on October 31st.
