Yesterday at Maria Cornejo's lovely show, this is the front row Mr. Mickey looked across at. Maria's clothes are sophisticated and art world luminaries as well as smarty-pants fashion girls love them. The line-up included (from left to right) the Washington Post's Robin Givhan, a little girl with a baby doll, the NY Times' Cathy Horyn looking very chic and soignée, the Financial Times's Vanessa Friedman, CFDA president Steven Kolb, photographer Cindy Sherman, an arty lady MM didn't recognize and the Sartorialist.
And speaking of Cathy's look, did she have a makeover? The hair style is great and very 'done' compared to Cathy's usual 'I'm a serious journalist and don't go for blow-outs' visual. Is this a new, softer Cathy?
