Earlier this week we wrote about the trippy Art Basel Hong Kong party for German artist Tobias Rehberger's collaboration with MCM, and his vivid new installation in their Hong Kong store.

Now, with the help of these eye-popping GIFs below, we're seeing how the collaboration came to life.

The limited-edition collection celebrates MCM's 40th anniversary by playing on what the brand is best known for -- pattern repetitions over luxe leather. Rehberger's pieces for the collaboration are bold, hypnotizing and graphic and feature the dazzle camouflage technique, used by the British navy during World War I to convert their battle ships into optical illusions with painted linear patterns.

Our personal fave is the Trunk Collection, featuring geometric patterns and jewel tones. The made-to-order hard luggage is inspired by the golden age of travel, and it's a super fab way to skip town.

Check out all the GIFs below and buy the collection here.
