Manolo Blahnik Can't Tell Today's Celebrities Apart

By Max Kessler
Sex and the City-certified shoemaker Manolo Blahnik can't really tell celebrities apart these days. He told Tim Blanks that today's actresses are "all the same. I don't even know Amanda Seyfried or whatever... Anne Hathaway. Pretty? Yes. Wonderful actress? Yes. But, I mean, I don't even remember her." [via The Cut]

Karl Lagerfeld did another one of his sketches for German mag Frankfurter Allgemeine Magazin. In honor of the 50th Anniversary of the Elysée Treaty (which ended the longtime rivalry between France and Germany) Karl depicted France and Germany as a lesbian couple with children -- personified France is on the left with Françoise Hollande as her child, and personified Germany is on the right with Angela Merkel. This is so weird but we're kind of obsessed with it. [via Fashionista]

Oh god, Studio Roosegaarde has gone and invented a dress that starts out opaque and becomes transparent when you show "signs of arousal." The studio is also working on suits for men that become transparent when they lie ("That's for the banking world," the designer quipped.) We're sketched out by the arousal dress but very curious about the lie-detecting suits. [via The Daily Beast]

Nicola Formichetti posed in his NYC apartment not wearing much for the 6th issue of We the Urban. [via The Fashionisto]

In other "oh god" news: DC Communication is making a glassy magazine devoted to nail art called...wait for it...Nail It! [via The Cut]

Jennifer Lawrence is looking very pretty (if a little boring and not very Jennifer Lawrence-y) in the new Miss Dior handbag ads. So basically: meh. [via Press Release]
