In this version of Shakespeare's great psychological drama, the dynamic Liev Schreiber stars as the Scottish war general who gives in to his wife's ambitions for power. Jennifer Ehle plays the unscrupulous Lady Macbeth, and the entire production gets the under-the-stars treatment in Central Park. Moises Kaufman -- who has made his mark helming The Laramie Project and the splendid I Am My Own Wife -- directs. Free admission.
