If you can't afford an actual Serena cameo, I guess the next best thing is flipping Beyoncé's "Sorry" and giving it a whimsical pop makeover? Or at least that's what rising Canadian producer, Lum, did -- and to our surprise, it works. A part of Activia Benz's Singles Club series, his aptly-dubbed "Boy Bye" is a gentle, glimmering, midi flute-filled jam that softens the raw realness of Beyoncé's fuck-off anthem. And while we do miss the brazenness of the original, there's still an element of strength pulsating beneath the surface, which you can appreciate in between that helium-filled synthwork and all those glitzy accent notes below.
