With this exhibition, V&A is starting an annual group show of painters' work that reflects a particular genre or theme. "Like It a Little," not unexpectedly, is about attraction with hesitation. Check out Kathy Grayson's paintings of snapshots taken from her archive of family photos. They are creepily realistic, if intentionally a little pixilated -- and you know how the dynamic of the family can be exactly that. We decided we Like It a Lot.

V&A, 98 Mott St., 2nd floor, (212) 966-5754. Opening reception Jun. 13, 7-9 p.m. Through July 26.
