Leonardo DiCaprio is making his admiration of 16-year-old climate change activist, Greta Thunberg, known.

DiCaprio — an ardent activist who's spent years working advocating for the environment via his namesake foundation — was, understandably, blown away by the Swedish teen's work protesting against climate change inaction. So much so that he sang her praises in a social media post earlier today.

According to Deadline, after finally meeting Thunberg in Los Angeles, DiCaprio took to his Instagram to laud the activist, who he referred to as "a leader of our time."

"There are few times in human history where voices are amplified at such pivotal moments and in such transformational ways – but @GretaThunberg has become a leader of our time," DiCaprio wrote in his caption. "History will judge us for what we do today to help guarantee that future generations can enjoy the same livable planet that we have so clearly taken for granted."

He then went on to call her message calling for action "a wake-up call to world leaders everywhere," before sharing their "commitment to support one another."

"It is because of Greta, and young activists everywhere that I am optimistic about what the future holds. It was an honor to spend time with Greta," he concluded. "She and I have made a commitment to support one another, in hopes of securing a brighter future for our planet."
