In honor of Groundhog Day and our nation's draconian attitudes towards abortion, Lady Parts Justice, the reproductive rights organization founded by comedian, author and Daily Show co-creator Lizz Winstead, has released a video spoofing the never-ending battle to keep local clinics open. You can watch it below.

The clip is part of an awareness campaign Lady Parts Justice is undertaking to draw attention to an upcoming Supreme Court case that has the potential to determine the legal status of Trap Laws (Targeted Regulation of Abortion Providers), which are laws designed to close abortion clinics and make the service difficult to access for women.

"On March 2nd, one month from today, the Supreme Court will hear Whole Woman's Health v. Hellerstedt, the biggest case on abortion rights in 24 years and most people do not even know it's happening," Winstead told PAPER. "In the lead up to the SCOTUS arguments, Lady Parts Justice is rolling out a blunt and hilarious video campaign throughout the month of February to help educate people about this case and what is at stake.

"We are kicking off the video campaign TODAY because, seriously, the fact that we keep fighting this same shit over and over, feels like we are living in a reproductive rights Ground Hog Day."
