Word's just come in that Lady Gaga will be performing an "experiential tribute" to David Bowie at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards next weekend, in a move that Grammys executive produce Ken Ehrlich said, "will not only make a great GRAMMY Moment, but one befitting of David."

And we couldn't agree more, seeing as how the glam rock-loving Lady Gaga will probably put on quite the show in honor the late Starman, all alongside his longtime collaborator Nile Rodgers, no less, who has signed on to help with the musical direction of the performance.

"Affording audiences a chance to experience Bowie's music once again," the press release says that, "the tribute will be a multisensory testament to the icon's incredible artistry and a reflection of his limitless creativity." Time to get your Grammys viewing party plans locked in.
