LACMA Threw a Tim Burton-Inspired "Dead Man's Ball" For Halloween

Camille Rousseau

What do you get when you mix Tim Burton's macabre mind, spooky courtyards and the most hardcore over-the-top costumes in town? Only the most Halloweeniest of Halloween parties, of course! LACMA's Dead Man's Ball was a teenage goth's dream come true, complete with late-night access to Burton's exhibition and a chance to party in the shadows of his iconic movie monsters. The bash raged on with rabble-rousing performances by Killsonic, DJ Jeremiah Red and Sneaky Nietzsche as delicious elixirs by Kanon Vodka flowed all night. We're pretty sure Jack Skellington's "This is Halloween" is still pounding in all of our heads, but who's complaining?
