L.A. Fashion Week Report: BOXeight Continues with Brian Lichtenberg

The shows at BOXeight continued this past weekend with anticipated Los-Angeles-based designer Brian Lichtenberg showcasing his '09 spring collection on Friday night. Many turned out to see the visually enticing pieces which have appeared on the likes of M.I.A, Santogold, Blake Lively and Nicole Ritchie. BOXeight didn't know what hit them when practically everyone in LA, from club kids to celebs, turned up to catch a glimpse of Lichtenberg's show. "We are so over capacity that the fire marshall is here turning people away," someone told us. Models walked down the runway in barely-there numbers showing off areas of their bodies that most are too worried to flaunt, adding plenty of shock value for the audience. Known primarily for his experimental leggings, Lichtenberg's collection also included leotards, tanks and tank dresses which incorporate architectural concepts with retro elements from his favorite eras -- the '70s, '80s to early '90s.
