Kim Petras Plays a Sexed-Up Ice Queen In New 'Icy' Video

Kim Petras makes being an ice queen look pretty damn hot. Fresh off the release of her new 17-track Halloween album, Turn Off the Light, Petras shifts gears back to her previous Clarity project.

"Icy" is a standout single from the collection, complete with ethereal, glacial synths and Petras' lyrics about going cold to protect herself from future heartbreak. In the video, out today, Petras, covered in glitter, writhes nude in a luxurious ice bath and emerges a sexed-up glamour queen clad in diamonds and jewels. Throughout the clip, Petras' charm and sex appeal is on full display, with spookiness added in for good measure. 'Tis the season, after all!

"I wanted the visual to feel fresh and signify becoming a stronger version of myself," Petras says of the "Icy" video. "The video starts with me feeling trapped and watched in a glass box, but as it progresses, I escape and evolve into a bionic version of myself through the pain of heartbreak."

Additionally, Petras just announced a European leg to her upcoming headline The Clarity Tour, kicking off October 21 in Vancouver. She'll take major cities across North America by storm before putting on shows "in London, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Manchester, and more at the start of 2020." Get tickets here for North American dates. Tickets for Europe shows go on sale this Friday, October 18. See all dates, below.
