Japanese internet superstar Kemio made his way to New York Fashion Week this month, and PAPER caught up with him before the Marc Jacobs Spring 2020 runway. The extravagant affair called for an equally extravagant outfit from the fashion label, and the influencer made a splash on the streets in his long, blue cape, before sitting front row at the show.
"It was my first time attending a Marc Jacobs runway show and I felt like I was in Wonderland," Kemio said. "I really loved the long blue trench look with stars on it — super fun and just my vibe. The models had great energy. It was definitely not a typical runway show, it was next level. I've always loved Marc and his creativity."
