Kanye West's tumultuous relationship with the MTV Video Music Awards has now reached a new zenith.
Sources from the awards show has told Pitchfork (after TMZ reported it) that Mr. West will be given four minutes to do/say whatever he wants on stage, at some point during the event.
Last year, Kanye took his Vanguard Award acceptance speech, and turned it into a nearly ten minute manifesto of artistic immortality, dropping in the little deet that he plans to run for president in 2020.
As we ALL remember, in 2009, Kanye interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech for Best Female Video to proclaim that Beyoncé's "Single Ladies" clip was the real winner.
I can only imagine what Yeezy has in store.
A hand-puppet show?
Another Ellen Show "Sorry for the realness" speech?
Will he be joined by Frank Ocean for a quick performance of a track from Blonde, or Life of Pablo.
