Ruh roh. TMZ reported this morning that over $20,000 dollars of laptops, desktop computers and recording equipment were stolen from Kanye's Calabasas studio this Tuesday. Even though there are currently no suspects, team Kanye believes that the perp was somebody who was familiar with the contents of his studio. An inside job! Apparently all of the equipment has already been replaced, and no sensitive information was lost due to some hardcore encryption, so there will be no more leaks in LA. Ye must have learned his lesson about data security, because the last time his laptop got stolen, it didn't go so smoothly.
At the end of his track, "No More Parties in LA" from The Life of Pablo, Kanye raps, "As far as real friends, tell my cousins I love 'em / Even the one that stole the laptop, you dirty motherfucker." He brings the theft up again in "Real Friends," where he elaborates, " I had a cousin that stole my laptop that I was fuckin' bitches on / Paid that n*gga 250 thousand just to get it from him." It's not like all of us have a platinum album on the laptop we're fucking bitches on (then again, I don't know your life), but let's take this friendly reminder from Kanye to get Time Machine poppin' and level up our passwords. 'Puppies123' is no longer gonna cut it in 2016.
