If you're in need of a song to contemplate your infinite loneliness while still staying upbeat, then ILoveMakkonen's got you covered with his latest, "Solo." The track was born because no one wanted to work on it with Makkonen (aw!), so he sang over it all alone. But really, it could be about so much more than being left alone by your collaborators in the studio. "It's about getting out there and doing it by yourself," Makkonen told Zane Lowe. "Just letting everybody know out there you can strike out and do it solo if you're not getting the support you want." Sounds like the making of a perfect bouncing, post-break-up "I don't need them" track to us. The sixth volume of his Drink More Water mixtapes is expected Friday.
