Harry Styles Will Host and Perform on 'SNL' Next Month

Good morning, Harry Styles hive. Our king has just been announced as both host and musical guest for Saturday Night Live on November 16. A guarantee that we'll see him don a bad wig, as well as perform "Lights Up," the lead single from his upcoming second solo album.

Styles, who has been enigmatic on Twitter of late, made the announcement via SNL's typical sticky notes on the door method. He made his musical debut on the show with One Direction back in 2014, then returned solo in 2017, with Jimmy Fallon hosting.

A double-duty guest always makes for a loose, fun show, and the honor is only reserved for top tier performers. In the past we've seen the likes of Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, and Janet Jackson fill both slots. Chance the Rapper is also set to juggle musical and hosting duties this coming Saturday, in a Halloween-themed episode.

Thank you, NBC! Now don't be cowards, and give us that Harry-Louis fanfic sketch.
