It was a hand-written note and some three-zip ankle jeans that started it all. Brothers Paul and Maurice Marciano sent a pair of their newly designed jeans to Bloomingdale's and the store immediately ordered 24 pairs. Guess was born. That was 30 years ago. This month, Guess celebrates three decades with a capsule collection inspired by their greatest hits as well as a new edition of their coffee table book, A Third Decade of Guess, which features many of the brand's iconic ad campaigns starring the likes of Claudia Schiffer, Adriana Lima, Anna Nicole Smith and Amber Heard. Schiffer is also back for their new campaign, clad in a snug pair of jeans, and photographed by Ellen von Unwerth.
