Need somebody to root for at the Grammy Awards on Wednesday night? Why not make it one of our faves, the Scissor Sisters. Yes, even though their own LP didn't come out in 2005, the Sisters are nominated for Best Dance Recording for "I Believe in You" which they co-wrote and produced for Kylie Minogue. You may recall that they were nominated last year for the same award for their version of "Comfortably Numb" but lost to Britney Spears. This is also the fourth year in a row that Kylie is up for a Grammy. The Snowbird was thrilled to hear several rough mixes of songs from the new Scissor Sisters album -- hopefully out in June -- and got goosebumps from their collaboration with Elton John on what will most likely be the first single "I Don't Feel Like Dancing." The LP has a 60's psychedelic vibe but you won't need to drop acid to love it.
