Frank Ocean Drops Beautiful 'Moon River' Cover

Frank Ocean took a moment to share a late Valentine's Day gift with us — a sparse, simple cover of the 60s classic "Moon River."

Last October Ocean hinted in a short essay for i-D, "If you liked two thousand and seventeen then you'll love two thousand and eighteen." Fans speculated that this meant new music was on the way, and hopefully this track is just the beginning.

"Moon River" was written by Henry Mancini and famously sung by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's. The song about "true drifters, off to see the world" is just the sort of melancholy travel ballad Ocean would love.
