Fecal Matter's Otherwordly Designs Get Their First IRL Space

As part of Depop's ongoing residency at Selfridges, Fecal Matter is hosting a week-long pop-up at the London-based luxury department store. This marks the first time the Montreal fashion duo's provocative, non-conforming designs get the IRL treatment at a physical space.

In addition to Fecal Matter's regular best-sellers, the pop-up will also feature an exclusive collection for Selfridges called "Chained to the System." The capsule consists of one-of-a-kind pieces including dildo handbags and nonbinary-friendly pieces with metal hardware accents.

"We sewed 100 pieces ourselves and really put our love, sweat and tears in each design," the founders said in a statement. "As many of you know, we are independent designers and we produce everything ourselves. It's a challenge sometimes but it's worth it knowing how pure and personal our approach is as designers. As gender non-conforming individuals/aliens in the fashion industry, it's really a proud moment to be able to offer our designs to all of you at Selfridges."

The Fecal Matter pop-up is available now in the Depop space at Selfridges until October 31st.
