Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta -- of the quickly-ascending design duo Eckhaus Latta -- have worked cross-country the past couple of years (Eckhaus working from NYC, Latta in L.A.), but are putting down roots in West Hollywood with a storefront in Little Armenia.

The space, which launched officially on Friday with a store party and is located at 5204 Fountain Avenue, is minimal and features slate-grey walls -- a neutral canvas all the better to highlight their designs, which the duo told us stem from "a visceral, emotional feeling."

The storefront will also highlight other designers, including deconstructed tie-dye t-shirts from Nora Jane Slade's line, Waggy Tees, and the backyard, where the party was held, will feature bands performing this summer.

Check out shots from the store launch party above, which included attendees like Grace Dunham, who has walked the runway the brand.
