Eckhaus Latta's New Denim Campaign Modeled by Sexy Clowns

Eckhaus Latta made us pause for a moment to reconsider our lives with its new spring/summer 2018 denim campaign, featuring a few of the designers' model friends dressed as high fashion topless clowns. Shot by Hanna Moon, the campaign is a whimsical and kooky look that's also the designers' first time doing a full campaign for its denim line.

Specifically, the new shoot features Eckhaus Latta's signature high-waist EL Jean, with designers Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta citing iconic denim campaigns in fashion history —like the 1995 Versace Jeans Couture ad shot by Richard Avedon and starring Nadja Auermann and Claudia Schiffer — as inspiration.

"To feature our classic denim, we wanted to create a classic denim campaign that showcased the jeans first and foremost, but fused with our signature casting and playfulness," Mike and Zoe said in a statement. "The self-deprecating nature of clowns became the perfect fit."

This season, the EL Jean is available in three colors (black, natural and blue) and four seasonal colors (depression, marigold, indigo dot and bleach yellow.)
