Introducing Spice Girls 2.0

Since the Spice Girls have trolled us once again over the possibility of a reunion, we're replacing them — okay, chill, we're aware the iconic British group are inimitable, but we are petitioning for a new five-piece girl band featuring Dua Lipa, Charli XCX, ALMA, Zara Larsson, and MØ.

Performing "IDGAF" in BBC 1's Live Lounge, Dua Lipa recruited our forever faves to sing back up and boy, was it beautiful. Not only did the gals kill it, but they obviously felt the forces of true girl power, because they took to their social media to express their gratitude to Dua Lipa.

"I wanna see more initiatives like this," Larsson wrote on Instagram. "Just a bunch of really cool girls coming together to sing a really cool song. More of this!!!! More girl power!!!! More!!! More!!! More!!!!! I'm SUCH a big fan of all these women. I genuinely love both the music they make and the people they are. Thank you for asking me to join, Dua. Would do it again anytime."

Charli also shared her thoughts post-performance:

The "Boys" singer later asked fans which girl would be which Spice Girl if the five-formed a cover band. Easy. Zara = Baby, MØ = Sporty, ALMA = Ginger, Charli = Scary and Dua = Posh. Don't @ me!

Enjoy.
