Chanel's Cuba Resort Fashion Show Was a Party in the Street

The old cliche in real estate is that is all about location, location, location -- and that's certainly become the case in the global high fashion cruise collection sweepstakes. Vuitton is showing in Rio, Dior is showing at Blenheim Palace in England and Karl Lagerfeld just finished a luxury jaunt to Havana, the city that all American hipsters are dying to travel to now that US-Cuban relations have improved. Lagerfeld is a whiz at creating looks that are both signature Chanel and customized to the locale. Stella Tennant looked chic in a 1950s mannish suit complete with fedora and there were cigar box bags, tropical prints and even berets -- a nod to the look of revolutionaries like Che Guevara.
