Cavern Wallpaper Introduces Its New Artists Editions Series

Elizabeth Thompson

Cavern, tried-and-true purveyors of hand silk-screened wallpaper, have made a name for themselves in the biz thanks to their simple, modern and "Brooklyn-design-sensibility"-friendly patterns (it was their blackbird collection that initially put them on the map.). Somehow, things have managed to get even cuter with their new Artists Editions series. The collection features wallpaper patterns designed by artists including Tom Slaughter, whose vibrant "Library" print is a book worm's dream; David Stark, whose seaweed-like "Golgi" print takes a room under the sea; and Julia Zeigler-Haynes, whose quilted designs are warm, rustic, and don't require learning to how to do anything with a sewing machine.
