A wellness influencer named Metaphysical Meagan has gone viral for espousing the supposed benefits of "perineum sunning," aka "butthole sunning."
Recently, Meagan gained some traction online after a Twitter user took a screenshot of her recent Instagram post talking about how the "health benefits" of giving your butthole a little Vitamin D every day — complete with a photo, of course.
According to Meagan, the "ancient Taoist practice" of perineum sunning her "bum and yoni" has a ton of benefits, including, "surges of energy," "better sleep," "better connection to her sexual energy," and "creativity."

Even better? She claims that, "30 seconds of sunlight on your butthole is the equivalent of a full day of sunlight with your clothes on!"
Granted, we'd probably advise you to take Meagan's advice with a grain of salt at this point, especially since Doctor-4-U's Dr. Diana Gall recently toldInsider that, "there is no evidence that sunbathing in this way has any effect on physical wellbeing."

"Yes, practicing mindfulness and meditation, and getting your dose of Vitamin D, is beneficial for mental and physical health," Dr. Gall added, "But you don't need to damage your skin in the process from sun exposure."
Check out the online reactions to Meagan's wellness "advice," below.
