Who says holiday music has to be terrible/the domain of your dad's Bob Dylan Christmas Album? At least that's what Blonde Maze thought when she created this gorgeous Christmas song that's strikingly vulnerable in its forlorn longing -- a far cry from that gratingly disingenuous holiday cheer, amirite?

After all, "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" is a tender, very genuine chronicle of missing the ones you love during the holidaze, complete with all the literal bells and whistles and complex synthlines that help it transcend beyond your average carol. Even better, it makes the perfect year-bookend to Blonde Maze's Oceans EP release, which chronicled her moves between NY and London and the subsequent longing that "comes with being an ocean away from someone or something dear to you."

Listen to the track below, and try not to feel all the feels.
