Björk's Medusa Face Mask Has Its Own Instagram Filter

by Christina DeConcini

Tired of the Louis Vuitton, butterfly, fish and freckle IG face filters? Björk has unveiled a new face filter titled "Medusa," inspired by one of the iconic masks from her video for Vulnicura single "Notget."

The filter release comes in celebration of the Björk Digital exhibition launch at the Bank of Brazil Cultural Center. Her original Medusa mask was designed by James Merry, and the illustration for Instagram was created by Rōbsō.

With her own filter, Björk follows in the footsteps of celebrities such as Ariana Grande, who last year created an Instagram filter that refracts users' faces into seven smaller, vintage-colored frames.

The "Medusa" filter is available for anyone to use now, and can be found on Björk's instagram next to her tagged photos.
