"BEYOND A MEMORABLE FANCY"
This group exhibition involves manipulating information in print, whether it be appropriating the norm from jail uniforms into orange pulp, from glamorous magazine photos to egregiously retouched images, or from coffin images to oversized lottery scratch-off games. At an exhibition where artists frequently collaborate and encourage open participation, with graffiti, boat-building, experimental film and lasers, expect the unexpected.
Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts Project Space, 323 W. 39th St., 11th floor, (212) 563-5855. Opening November 1, 6-9 p.m. Through December 13.
