Last night, at the Detroit leg of her Formation world tour (the end of the first wave of her international run), Queen Bey gave a stunning, and doubly powerful performance of her legendary 2008 ballad "Halo."

The singer dedicated the already gut-wrenching song to the victims of the massacre that occurred early Sunday morning, at Orlando's Pulse gay nightclub.

"This song is about love," Beyoncé started, "and I'd like to dedicate to all the family members of those who lost their lives in Florida."

Other musicians, like Adele and Elton John, have also honored the shooting's 49 victims at their respective concerts.
