Bella Hadid turned 23 years old yesterday, but celebrated like she was still in middle school — albeit with a hypebeast supermodel twist. She took friends and family (Gigi, Yolanda, plus Anwar and girlfriend Dua Lipa) to Color Me Mine (the '90s revival has truly peaked), ate pizza cake gifted to her by Alexander Wang, and wore head-to-toe Alyx.
Hadid's all-black cinched look was a standout from the strongly tailored collection designer Matthew M. Williams presented back in June: sharply cut asymmetrical suits and sporty nylon pieces blending together for a dressier take on his usual industrial urban streetwear.
It was a perfect birthday 'fit for Bella, whose style has always tended towards "Keanu Reeves in The Matrix," despite her clearly being a sweet kid at heart. She's been repping the brand since her early modeling days, and was among a small handful of people to receive a pair of Alyx Studios' exclusive Nike Air Force 1 sneakers earlier this year.
The sleek ensemble contrasted with Bella's hamburger-shaped ceramic coin bank, which she painted bright blue and yellow. Gigi painted a bowl, and Yolanda Hadid a mug — the proud mom was on hand to add photos of everyone's colorful creations to her Instagram Stories.
Bella's birthday squad reportedly headed to brunch afterward at Sadelle's. Hope no one splattered paint on the clothes!
