They say when it rains, it pours and the expression has been especially true in Paris this week, where weather forecasts are showing no signs of letting up after days of rain. The torrential downpour, however, does give ample opportunity for rain-ready looks and the chance to storm right back at mother nature with fierce weatherproof attire because fashion is life, after all.
Presenting a slew of climate-conscious looks this week, Marine Serre's Spring 2020 collection aptly titled "Marée Noire" (which translates to "oil spill") is perfectly suited for the inclement Parisian weather. Vogue reports that even the show's invites came with umbrellas. In the selection of post-apocalyptic fashions made from salvaged materials for the survivors of the ultimate in earthly storms and mass extinction, there was plenty to choose from for brave fashionistas.

So who better than the fashion killa himself, A$AP Rocky, to debut the black trench made from recycled plastic on the slippery streets of Paris last night? Nobody, really. Stepping out in the fresh off the runway look paired with his signature babushka scarf and cap (also Marine Serre Spring 2020), Rocky hit Fenty's pop-up afterparty, joining Gigi and Bella Hadid along with Luka Sabbat and others.
