Brit designer Angela Brandys is a scavenger: "I scout about like a magpie collecting fabric trims and other bits of elusive materials. Then I set about making them all work together," the 23-year-old says. Her latest creations are a compilation of all her finds colorfully fused to create an outspoken collection that brings to mind everything from Harajuku girls to Liverpool punks. Not for the faint of heart, her pieces feature a bold hodgepodge of brocades, fur trims and prints. "Hybrid assemblage would be the term to describe it," Brandys says. "It's a very decorative way of working."
