A Razor-Sharp Vanessa Paradis Fronts Vogue Paris

Julia Frakes

Carine Roitfeld tapped the genius photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot to capture the current face of Miu Miu, Vanessa Paradis (aka Mrs. Depp) for the cover of this November's Vogue Paris. The heartily anticipated age issue features Cindy Crawford by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, Penelope Tree by Bruce Weber, Anna Selezneva and Eva Herzigova by Mario Sorrenti, and the long-awaited release of Ryan McGinley's buzzed-about collaboration with Raquel Zimmermann.

The most intriguing editorial? Hands down "De 10 à 60 ans." Also photographed by Inez & Vinoodh, this Roitfeld-styled spread features a progressively "gracefully aging" Eniko Mihalik. While some argue that the "younger" photos are slightly sinister, the photographs are so well-rendered and impeccably conceived that while undoubtedly spooky, the general tenor is still wholesome nonetheless.
