They say there's goodness in this world if only you look in the right places, but sometimes those places can be damn hard to find. Luckily for us, Young Thug shared an extended Snapchat story of him smoking a blunt and singing along to FUN's 2012 existential-crisis party ballad "Some Nights."

It's pure as fuck. Really, who better understands the feelings described in the song than a super successful young rapper and family man like Thug? "Well, Some nights, I wish that this all would end/ Cause I could use some friends for a change/ And some nights, I'm scared you'll forget me again/ Some nights, I always win."

The Atlanta musical virtuoso and father of 12 starts singing right at the 30-second mark, and knows most of the words. He even goes through the song's campy monologue: "So this is it? I sold my soul for this? Washed my hands of that for this? I miss my mom and dad for this?!" Goddamnit, Thug!!!!!

Somewhere in the background, one of Thugger's 12 children padded down the stairs in their pajamas to ask for a glass of water, having been awakened from their child's slumber by the faint howl of "Some Night's" bridge, only to stumble upon their iced-out father having himself a singing session and a smoke. "This is how I'll always remember you, Daddy," Thug Jr. thought to him or herself, standing in quiet awe in the doorframe, treasuring the moment that even then was forming into a deep and nostalgic childhood sense memory.

Twenty years from now, when they hear "We Are Young" playing from the jukebox of a dive bar in LA, they subconsciously will recognize Nate Ruess' incandescent voice and feel a twinge of sweet melancholy. Though it's been a few weeks since they've spoken, what with everyone's schedules being so busy and all, they'll step outside of the crowded dive and give Papa Thug a call just to say, "I love you."
