Where to Find Kelly Osbourne at 4 a.m. In NYC
Charlotte Ronson's shows are always a spectacle -- mostly because of the parade of cool kid attendees who file in before the lights go down and settle in front and center. Last night at the designer's SS12 show was no exception. Everyone, from the downtown-cool-girl scene's most ubiquitous faces (Jen Brill, Harley Viera-Newton, Becka Diamond) to California girls (Nicky Hilton and Whitney Port) and up-and-coming songstresses (Sky Ferreira and Ellie Goulding), made an appearance in the front row.
We clawed our way through a force field of paparazzi and chatted with Ronson show fixture Kelly Osbourne, who was looking sophisticated in an Issa dress, Miu Miu pumps and white leather gloves, and who let us in on which East Village gay bar you might find her at come 4 A.M.
Sarah Ferguson: What are you most excited for this week?
Kelly Osbourne: Everything because this is the first year that I've had an open invitation to any show. I got to pick whatever I wanted to do and I decided not to involve myself in the whole pissing contest of fashion week and just have fun.
SF: Do you have any fun plans for tonight?
KO: I'm meeting my friends for dinner afterwards and then we're just going to play it by ear, and that's what I love about New York! You can just go out and do that. There have been nights where I'm just like, I'm going to go out by myself and have ended up at four o' clock in the morning by myself, in The Cock. Being like 'Oh this is amazing, I'm having the time of my life! I'm dancing alone...in a gay bar... at 4 A.M! I should go home!' But I also meet people and make friends that I would have never expected. It's amazing.
