Tim Burton's back at it again with his whimsy-filled, alterna-outsider cinema -- and, as such, our inner teen ghouls are rejoicing like no other.

That's right, the Edward Scissorhands maestro has just dropped a new trailer for his latest feature Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children -- and it's already looking to be one of the most magical releases of 2016.

An adaptation of Ransom Riggs' 2011 novel, Miss Peregrine's chronicles the journey of 16-year-old Jacob Portman, who discovers a portal back into the 40s where he stumbles upon Miss Peregrine, a caretaker for orphans with magical powers -- and if the first peek we've gotten of it is any indication, it's bound to be jam-packed with knock-out cinematography, quirky characters and loads of other, ahem, peculiarities.
