U2's "No Line on the Horizon" is Our Music Video of the Day

Gary Pini

This probably doesn't qualify as a "music video," but it is a really cool time-lapse film with a soundtrack of a U2 song that wasn't released as a single. It was directed by Tom Kelly and shot between July 15 and 20, 2009, at Berlin's Olympic Stadium. Rather than a performance, the video for "No Line On the Horizon," from U2's last album, treats us to a behind-the-scenes look at the set up and load-out of the "The Claw," the $25 million stage set (one of three) that is being used on the U2360 World Tour. The gigantic pantograph video screen is owned by XL Video who rents it out, so keep it in mind for your next tour.  For a closer look, U2 and "The Claw" will be appearing at the new "your-name-goes-here" stadium in the Meadowlands on July 20, 2011.
