PAPER cover boy and psych-folk heartthrob Devendra Banhart has turned one of his original pieces of art into a limited edition tee-shirt for COMUNE's Drop City program, which is a gallery housed in a structure of recycled steel shipping containers. The Drop City art initiative is inspired by a 1960's artist commune in Colorado and Banhart's shirt collaboration for the clothing label COMUNE is not the whole piece of art, but rather an "exploded view" of a section of the work made into a print. Pretty groovy.
