As part of the Film Society's Turkish cinema retrospective, the Sundance Film Festival-winner Can screens tonight. Rasi Celikezer's film follows a couple struggling to conceive a child -- who resort to illegal means in order to obtain a baby. Çelikezer will be on hand for a post-screening Q&A.

Robert Caro at Barnes & Noble
One of the greatest historians and biographers of all time, Robert Caro, reads from his long-awaited fourth installment of his Lyndon B. Johnson multi-volume biography, "The Passage of Power," which, incidentally Bill Clinton (yes, that Bill Clinton) glowingly reviewed in the Times this weekend.
