Tiffany & Co. Debuts Their Take on 'Modern Love'

Tiffany & Co.'s appeal as one of the ultimate purveyors of fine jewelry has cemented the brand's icon status. Women of the Upper East Side flaunt their immaculate diamond cuffs and boast of their personal historical importance — a 25-year anniversary gift or a priceless family heirloom. The brand has also spent decades appealing to young women, with balled silver chains and studded lockets defining what it meant to be influential in the early-2000's. However, in their latest collection, Tiffany's has indicated that they no longer intend on remaining locked into their traditional associations. The jewelry staple unveiled its latest "Modern Love" campaign, in which diverse couples bring a pragmatic feel to the forefront of the brand's aesthetic.

During New York Fashion Week, Tiffany's tapped street style photographer Renell Medrano to capture portraits of young couples wearing the brand's Tiffany T True collection — an assortment of rings and bracelets that say 'let's commit' — in various New York City settings.

"I wanted to show a unique and different side of love," the 26-year-old Bronx-native explained. "A realness and vulnerability that is unfiltered." The photos convey a subtler side to the brand's luxurious grandeur and give expensive jewelry a younger, fresher face.

Celebrity guests poured into Tiffany's fashion week party at Industria Studios on Saturday night to celebrate Medrano's "Modern Love" photo exhibit. Many notable attendees like Kendall Jenner, Emily Ratajkowski and A$AP Ferg, who's dating Medrano, arrived sporting in the T True collection. Ferg, clad in a white fur coat, spoke of Medrano's fervor and sheer talent during his red-carpet arrival. "[Medrano] is very intense, she knows what she wants to shoot," he explained. "I don't trust everybody with shooting me because I don't let my guard down with any photographer. But with her, I can completely let my guard down and trust her vision."
