Out now, and looking stunning on Blu-ray, is the ultra-disturbing In A Glass Cage (Cult Epics). This brilliant, horrifying 1986 Spanish film by Agusti Villaronga is about a former Nazi doctor, now confined to an iron lung in a remote villa. A strange young man (and former camp victim of the doctor's) comes to work for him, and they continue his "experiments" on young victims. Pedro Almodóvar favorite Marisa Paredes plays the resentful wife. David Sust plays the spooky damaged young man. This is difficult film -- but one that has haunted me for years.
