Rogan Gregory is back! After last year's launch of his Rogan for Target’s GO International collection, which featured certified organic clothing, Rogan has returned for round-two. And this time, he’s brought along his partner Scott Mackinlay Hahn for the launch of Loomstate’s limited-edition collection of sustainable, spring ready tidbits for Target’s GO International. Just in time for Earth Day!
Last week, The amazing team at Target and PR maven Shelby Meade converted Big Red Sun, a typical nursery, landscaping boutique into a mini pop-up eco paradise. As the Loomstate/Target clothes made a home for themselves in the main shop area, the gorgeous and the “green” came out in droves to support fashion’s favorite eco boys. From eco goddesses Angela Lindvall and Josie Maran to Entourage and Alter Eco Adrian Grenier, it was hard to walk five steps without hitting a celebrity. And shopping wasn’t any easier. I had to maneuver my way past Anna Paquin and not get caught gawking at supermodel Amber Valetta just to grab a bikini. Rest assured, I succeeded, paid quickly, and retreated to the outdoor garden oasis.
With purchase in hand and a drink to quench my shopping induced thirst, I found myself slowly sinking into the gravel in my Givenchy grey four-inch booties. When the invite says “eco," forgo heels in favor of flip-flops.
From the ambiance to the guests, the amazing vegetarian appetizers from Venice Beach Wines (delicious!!), down to the organic reusable giftbags with T-shirts and Weleda products, the event was a smash.
Made from 100 percent certified organic cotton, Loomstate for Target wares are perfect warm weather casuals and priced from $14.99 to $44.99 for today's recessionary budgets.
They’re in stores right now, but don’t drive . take the train, bus, carpool, bike, or walk!
